Description:

Perennial shrub, up to 2 m high, with reddish bark, leaves light-green, elliptical, blunt on the top, red in autumn. Blooms in May - June.

Application:

external: gingivitis in inflammation of the gums and oral cavity, washing of vaginal inflammations; Compresses with decoction in hemorrhoids, dermatitis, sweating of the feet. It has a clamping, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and hauling action.

 


Preparation:

for gargles - 1 tablespoon of leaves are boiled with 1/2 l water for 5 minutes. After cooling, strain. For baths - 50 g of leaves are poured with 2 liters of boiling water, boil for 20 minutes, stays for one hour and squeezes.

 


Usage: external: gargle and wash, bath and compress.
